VISA
We send visa support letters both a tourist and business types (or cultural exchange).
To obtain a tourist visa one need to purchase a minimum tour (accommodation at least) and send us the necessary data (passport number and its validation dates, address and contact info, full name and dates of the trip to Russia, one should also mention the place of obtaining the visa).
The minimum cost for processing a tourist visa is 25USD. In case one books a tour package at "Prima" we do not charge this fee at all. In any case one can get a voucher and a visa support letter promptly by fax.
The business visa requires more time for processing and more detailed data from an applicant. Usually, it takes about a month to proceed it before the applicant gets the visa support letter from us and in addition to the above mentioned data one has to provide the info on his/her position and work place and clarify the purpose of the visit. The minimum charge for proceeding is 35USD.

We make reservations for tourists at various hotels in St. Petersburg and other places of Russia or CIS.
Hotels
You have to choose the location and the level of the hotel:
5 - 4-star hotels in St. Petersburg usually have a really splendid location in the historical center of the city and the double accommodation rates are from 250 - 500 USD per a double room including breakfast.
These hotels have excellent services and all necessary facilities and often are run by international hotel chains (the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, the Nevsky Palace Corinthia, the Grand Hotel Europe Kempinsky, the Astoria-Angletaire Hotel, the brand new Hotel Emerald and others).
This category is followed by a great number of mini-hotels opened after the 300th anniversary of the city in 2003. As a rule they have a convenient layout and some provide breakfast. The rooms are nicely furbished and the staff is very polite. It is a very diverse category of accommodations from 65 USD per room (double without breakfast) up to 135 USD. We recommend this type of accommodation for individual travelers or families, or really small groups.
The most popular are the 3-star hotels like "Moskva" or "Rus". These hotels also have a pretty convenient location and nice rooms. Meals are provided in a hotel restaurant. These hotels have a well-developed infrastructure and conference facilities. The rates for the double accommodation (B&B) vary from 60 to 120 USD per room. This type of accommodation is for tourists who like comfort on agreeable prices. The groups mostly prefer to stay there.
For economy class accommodation (for youth and student groups) we can book hostels with or without facilities in the room. They can be both in the centre or in the suburbs closer to underground stations. It will cost from 20 to 50 USD per a double room (as a rule, breakfast is not included).
If you would like to see the life of the Russians, try a home stay with a Russian family (from 25 USD with breakfast) where they provide you with a room and their warm hospitality and where you meet all challenges of their every-day life. Such experience can be very pleasant and, in addition, you can master your Russian!
Today we often book apartments for individuals or family travelers. All apartments are well-equipped and have a very convenient location. The centrally located 2-3 room apartment can cost you from 120 USD per day irrespective of the number of people staying there.
Transport
When you come to our city we offer you airport-hotel transfer (40 USD in average) and any other transport daring your stay here. Depending on the size of a group it can be either a large modern coach with air conditioning (up to 45 people) or a small mini-bus (8-25 persons, air-conditioned).
For individual travelers we offer Volvo or Mercedes cars with experienced drivers at per hour charge starting from 20 USD. The minimum order is 3-4 hours.
In case you decide to travel to other cities in Russia or CIS we can book for you air or railway tickets.
In such a big city as St. Petersburg there is a developed system of public transportation including a very efficient Metro (underground), buses, taxi-cabs. The public transport is relatively inexpensive (a quarter of a dollar per a ride on a bus or metro). Taxi-cabs charge per distance and add reservation fee when booked in advance. At any rate an average ride within a city by a taxi won't exceed 10-15 USD per a car.
We recommend to book transfers and excursion coaches in advance as it will make your trip more convenient. The same applies for businessmen who want to save time and money coming in time for their meetings.
The car rental without a driver is possible but we recommend it for those who speak some Russian at least and know the city a little.
Cultural venues and cuisine
"Prima" is good at arranging your cultural programme. An experienced English-speaking guide (or a guide speaking your language) will take you to the most famous cultural sites: The State Hermitage (2-3 hours tour), to the State Russian Museum (The largest depository of the 3 centuries of the Russian Art), the splendid suburban palaces, other museums and art galleries.
The evening programme is also available: numerous St. Petersburg theatres open their doors every night including the world famous Mariinsky (good tickets are from 75 to 100 USD).
Dining can be an adventure too. To make it a pleasant experience ask our experts where to go for a "borsch" (a red beet rich soup with sour crème) or "blini" (thin flat pancakes, often served with caviar) or "pirogi" (Russian pastries stuffed with diverse ingredients like meat, mushrooms or wild berries). On the whole our restaurants represent almost all international cuisine but we recommend booking in advance, especially for a group.я

Special events
"Prima" does its best to meet your expectations. We can arrange visits to sites (businesses, "behind-the-stage" tours to theatres, visits to artistics' studios, etc.).
You are most welcome with your corporate events (conventions, seminars, teleconferencing, etc.). The events are held in the well-equipped facilities or luxurious interiors of the numerous palaces of the city.
